Bio
Born and raised in South Korea, I made my journey to New York City where I pursued Interaction & Graphic design major at School of Visual Arts. I started out my career as a visual designer working on various products, platforms and campaigns at design agencies including Elephant, Publicis Sapient, Critical Mass, Firstborn, and many more. Recently, I was a product designer at Tapcart where I designed and shaped experiences for merchants.
What is my design philosophy?
I like to design with clarity–with purpose and rationale. I learned that good design consists of multiple layers of deliberate decisions made with users at the center of one’s mind. Through my experience, I’ve come to value the collaborative process that leads to successful products.
Who am I, really?
A minimalist and nomad at heart, I care deeply about sustainability in modern times. In my downtime, I like to go out and explore some of the great modern architecture all throughout the world. Some of my favorite simple activities include cutting fruits, playing hide and seek with my cat and watching Expedia travel videos.
